At Smartability, we work with clients to empower them to make citizen-centric service delivery changes that make the future predictable.
We work with high-level policymakers in the development of their strategic vision. This could be part of the development of a national or regional Framework Plan, a city's Structure Plan, or in the case of an organisation, the strategic vision is at the core of the development of their mission.
Our role is independent and not driven by any external influences such as those of suppliers of services or technology or other external commercial interests that could benefit from skewing the vision in a particular direction.
Our ability to work collaboratively across different disciplines means we are not constrained by work silos or sector priorities.
The realisation of the strategic vision requires an understanding to how to get there and the different routes that could take us there. This requires prioritisation of major factors such as speed, cost and complexity.
Our road mapping starts at the strategic level, identifying key components, stakeholders (both internal and external), technological paradigm, and the risk profile associated with a successful implementation of the vision.
We carry out a high-level assessment of options to assist decision-making by the client.
We carry out a review of technical and organisational requirements for different options and evaluate the existing situation for the client organisation.
We identify the change management tasks and other processes involved with this, identifying KPIs and other indicators for monitoring.
We provide the framework for skills assessment needs and provide the accreditation for the final outcome.
